An Elsewhere Residency co-collaborator -- Jason Watson. Fantastic mark maker.

One of my projects involved meshing the visitors and items from the Elsewhere collection with mark making -- a document portrait. This visitor was a summer intern and had just stubbed her toe.

Stephanie is one of the co-creators of Elsewhere Collaborative. She likes children's toys.

The third floor was a make shift studio for the third project while a resident: a mural. The front windows of Elsewhere needed to be covered to protect the interior installations.

The mural mimics the existing windows and features the creativity that transcends through Elsewhere's building.

During "Connecting People" several people would sit for each portrait panel. I would paint different features from different people over the top of the existing layer. The result was a visual meshing of the people who attended this performance.

-- stepping outside of the box. It was tasked upon the Summer 2008 to create an environmental project exploring the concept of clotheslines. As the initial residency project I created lanterns with objects from the Elsewhere Collaborative collection and hung them in the alley.
